It has been a long road for many months … with many changes as I moved from one little corner of the Garden to another. I am finally settling down and getting my rhythm back, and so too my ability to be still and listen to what God is saying today. As the children play in the neighborhood, singing, shouting, jumping, clapping … I marvel at how different the little corners of the Garden can be and yet how possible it still is to find such beautiful things in it. The children share and remind me of joys of another day… another time, when cares of the world were a million miles away, and the joy of childhood was complete. It is good to hear the sound of children around me again…
and see the sunrise from a different place… a different angle… a different perspective.
The sun is beautiful as always, in God’s beautiful Garden… after all, He is the same God who made it… but the children’s sounds as they play make for a whole new beautiful day. Stop and listen to the children play, and remember that God also created you that way… innocent, loving, playful, beautiful and free to be in His great and beautiful Garden.
Come… walk with me in the Garden.
